The Problem
Like many owners in commercial real estate, one of our
client’s portfolios had a diverse array of HVAC and
building automation systems due to acquisitions. The lack
of standardization perpetuated a significant training burden
and made it difficult to share resources across their portfolio.
It was determined that replacing this wide range of existing
systems to enforce a common standard was cost prohibitive.
The Solution
Through MESA, Transcend Equity deployed LiveBuildings™, a
web based, enterprise-wide facility management system.
LiveBuildings™ provides a common interface to the various systems throughout
their portfolio to provide the benefits of standardization
without needlessly sacrificing existing infrastructure.
The Impact
LiveBuildings™ provides portfolio-wide, real-time visibility
into buildings enabling operating staff to identify and
correct many problems before the tenants are aware they
exist. By deploying LiveBuildings™, our client is able
to proactively resolve problems, share building operations
staff throughout their portfolio, and rapidly train new
resources as they are needed. |
